Watch Care

Exposing your watch to high temperatures, such as placing it on the dashboard of your vehicle or submerging it in a hot tub, may cause the watch to malfunction, may shorten battery life or may damage its internal components. Leaving the watch in extreme cold temperatures may cause irregular timekeeping.

Do not expose quartz watches to magnetism. If you do, it may temporarily stop operating or may show gain or loss in time. To ensure that it maintains its water resistance, make sure the crown of the watch is always pushed against the case.

You should have your watch checked once a year for water resistance. Condensation inside your watch is an indication that its water resistance has been affected.

For maximum performance, regularly wipe your watch with a clean, soft cloth. Stains, water spots and dirt that have accumulated on the case, crystal glass may cause premature wear. If you use your water- resistant watch in the shower, chlorinated water or salt water may get deposited on the glass cover. It is suggested that you rinse it with fresh water and dry it thoroughly afterwards. It is advisable not to use watches with leather straps in shower, while swimming or diving. The leather straps can get damaged doing this.

If your watch has a film and / or adhesive protector on the back of its case, ensure to remove it before using the watch. Do not expose the watch to solvents, mercury, cosmetic spray, detergents, adhesives or paints.

Care for Crystal Glass

• This watch has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, but that does not mean that you should toss your watch on top of the dresser or into a drawer. It is better to store or wrap it in a soft cloth before placing it down
• Replace broken or scratched crystals immediately. Even a hairline crack can bring dust or moisture into the mechanism, affecting the accuracy

Care for Leather Strap

• Straps that are made of natural and genuine leather will gradually deteriorate with constant exposure to perspiration. If not cleaned, perspiration can wash out the natural oils and cause the leather to become dry. Any moisture should be blotted with a soft cloth or paper towel and the strap should be allowed to dry naturally

• Salt residue and soil can be removed from leather straps by cleaning it with a dampened soft cloth

International Warranty

Your CHAIROS bears a warranty for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase, under the terms and conditions of this warranty. This warranty covers material and manufacturing faults and comes into force only if the warranty certificate is fully and correctly completed with all the details.

The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover replacement of battery, leather strap, crystal breakage or damage resulting from improper handling, accidents, or normal wear. For defects covered under the warranty, your watch will be repaired by our authorised service partners free of charge.

CHAIROS warranty shall be rendered null and void once the warranty period expires and the product will remain at your disposal. For further repair and maintenance of your watch there will be an additional appropriate charge. Kindly call the Customer Support Centre for any further queries.
